The open test of Double Flow Integrally Geared compressor (DF-IGC)

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation (MCO) conducted shop open test of a double-flow integrally geared compressor (DF-IGC) in December, 2013.

A scale model of DF-IGC was used for the open test.
We proved superior performance, stability, and mechanical reliability of our machine.

For the market of compressors such as large ASU, MCO developed DF-IGC which is enabled to run in large flow capacity range. Moreover, our machine is compact and lightweight.
The MCO’s DF-IGC is designed with double idential suction and newable gear structure, which will provide wide flow capacity range, and covers the operating ranges of axial compressors.
