The open test of 700 bar Super High Pressur Compressor

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation (MCO) conducted an open test on a world-class 700 bar super high pressure compressor in the autumn, 2013.

The open test under actual conditions(700bar, CO2 100% etc.) was conducted successfully in our Hiroshima shop.
High performance and high reliability were confirmed about our machine.

The tested compressor was well-received by the customers who observed for the test, and consequently we received the first order of the 550 bar class compressors.

The MCO’s super high pressure compressor has the improved operating range, efficiency and stability by our concepts; super high pressure, high performance, small size and light weight. The application is targeted for EOR, CCS, gas processing plants and offshore equipment (FPSO etc.) for which demand has grown in recent years.
